NewCastle Grotto
Our NewCastle artificial rock grotto is pictured on the left side of the photo and only weighs 1900 pounds.The slide and other rock features are not included. The real rock waterfall surrounding the slide weighs 40,000 pounds and required an incredible foundation to support it and incredible amounts of labor. The NewCastle required no foundation and took 2 workers a couple of days to install.
The all-new NewCastle Grotto is a stunning example of what is possible in pre-fabricated rock water features. You can place it over a spa or swim-out very easily. The ceiling height is 6 1/2' with a 9' wide, 7' deep cave. The overall dimensions are 11'H x 15' W x 10' D (on deck) with a 51" overhang to the edge of the weir. The weir's width delivers a 63" wide shimmering sheet of water using a pump that can range from 1 1/2 hp to 3 hp. It is absolutely stunning! A passageway is at the rear, sized 30" wide and 6 1/2' tall for easy entry and exit. A privacy panel is available for those wanting to close off the rear of the cave. This unit ships to your location as a completed, water-tested water feature that is ready to place and install in only four hours using four workers. No foundation is needed... no rebar and no concrete! No masonry skills are required!

This photo shows the huge cave section with its 6 1/2' ceiling height, 9' width, and 7' depth. It's easy to place a spa or pool swim-out in this location. Combined with the 63" wide sheet of water falling from the upper falls, this makes for an impressive rock water feature. It looks like it weighs 40 tons, but it only weighs 1,900 pounds. You can easily place this unit on your decking without using a super-duty foundation. You can do this. It's almost too easy!TM
